Zachai

Zachai is an exam hosting and grading platform for real classrooms. Teachers run the whole exam in one place, and grading comes with it.
It handles the ways a class actually sits an exam:
• Handwritten papers: students photograph their scripts with a phone and upload them.
• Quizzes that score themselves, including a live room you host from the front of the class with a join code and leaderboard.
• Typed essays.
• Printed bubble sheets (OMR).
AI grades each answer against your rubric and leaves feedback on the script itself, such as marking where a definition is correct or where a student wrote the wrong term. Every AI grade is an editable draft. You review it, change anything, and publish when you're happy, so the final say stays with the teacher.
Zachai also connects to Google Classroom and LMS tools like Moodle and Canvas, so results fit into the workflow you already use.
Hosting exams is free. Every account gets 25 grading credits each month, with no card needed. Built for teachers and institutions who want to spend less time marking and more time teaching.
